Wesala18+

Adults only · 18+

Voice rooms, live streams, and people who share what you like.

Wesala puts three things next to each other: a room you can talk in, a stream you can host, and a discovery feed built from the interests you pick rather than from whoever paid the most to reach you.

Everything public is screened before it appears and patrolled while it runs. Every enforcement decision can be appealed once, to a person.

01What you can do

Join or host a voice room

Rooms carry a topic, a language, a region and a content level. The host sets house rules and hands out stage seats; hosts and admins can mute, unseat or remove someone.

Go live

Broadcasting is a separate permission from hosting a room. Both need the creator check first, and the approved scope says which one you got.

Be found by interest

Pick interests, languages and regions once. Discover mixes rooms, live sessions and people against them, and you can tell it to show fewer of something.

Say thank you

Gifts run on coins, bought as a consumable in-app purchase from the App Store or Google Play. A gift is spent when sent — it is not a balance you can withdraw.

Chat on your own terms

Who may message you and who may invite you are separate settings: everyone, people you follow, mutual follows, or nobody. Blocking is immediate and one-sided.

Keep a spending limit

Per-purchase and per-cycle caps live in the wallet. Lowering a cap applies at once; raising one asks twice and waits out a cool-down.

02Signing in is a tap, not a form

There is no phone number and no one-time code on the way in. The sign-in screen asks for a date of birth and two consents, and then the device itself is the credential — a salted, hashed identifier, never the raw hardware value.

Because that identifier can drift when you factory-reset or change phone, you can link a recovery phone number afterwards under Profile → Account & security. It is stored privately and is never shown on your public profile. Linking is the only way back into the same account on a new device, which is why the app says so before you need it rather than after.

The age answer is checked before the account is created, so an adult has confirmed their age at the moment the account comes into existence — not on a later screen.

Age requirement

You must be 18 or over to create an account. If a date of birth under 18 is entered, no account is created — and that answer sticks to the device rather than being retried on the next screen. Accounts later found to belong to a minor are removed.

Mistyped the year? That is a real thing that happens; write to sorenperalta262@icloud.com and a person will look at it.

03How moderation actually runs

  • Photos, display names, bios, text, images and voice notes are screened automatically before they are published, not after someone complains.
  • Voice rooms and live streams are sampled and patrolled in real time. Rooms say so on the way in.
  • Anything the machine is unsure about goes to a human queue, and the verdict is recorded with the basis for it.
  • Enforcement follows a published ladder: limited delivery, removal, mute, removal from a room, creator restriction, then termination.
  • Content levels — general, teen and 18+ — gate what you see. You can only filter more strictly than your region requires, never less.

The detail, including what is never allowed anywhere on Wesala, is on the safety page and in the Community Guidelines.

04Becoming a creator

Hosting a room or going live is a reviewed permission, not a toggle. Four steps, in order:

1 · Eligibility
18 or over, account in good standing, in a permitted launch region.
2 · Enhanced identity check
A compliant third party runs the name and liveness check. We receive the verdict and a graded badge; document images are never stored by us.
3 · Host and broadcaster rules
Room governance, live no-go areas, risk to minors, gift rules and how to handle an emergency mid-session.
4 · Human admission review
Usually one to three business days. You see the status, the approved scope — voice rooms, or voice rooms and live — and any rejection reason, which can be appealed.

Leaving, and taking your data

Deletion is self-serve, under Profile → Account & security → Delete account. The screen lists exactly what goes — profile, relationships, content, chats, balance and entitlements — before you confirm, and you can request an export of your data inside the same flow.

After you submit, the account enters a cancellation window you can back out of at any point. When it closes, deletion is irreversible. A narrow set of records is kept where law requires it; see section 2 of the Privacy Policy.

05Need a person?

Reporting, blocking, appealing, deleting and exporting all work inside the app without waiting for us. For everything else — a purchase that did not arrive, a privacy request, a safety concern that cannot go through the app — start on the support page.
